Why I'm Writing Here

I have never felt very natural writing on LinkedIn.

The format always felt a little too optimized for attention: too flashy, too markety, too close to performing instead of thinking. Some people on my team have told me I should share more publicly, and I agreed with the idea. I just did not feel at home in the format.

But I do feel like writing. I want to share more of what I am learning, noticing, and changing my mind about. I also want to give back a little, especially around engineering, AI, product, teams, and the practical work of building useful systems.

I considered a traditional blog, but those are hard for people to follow now. X does not feel like the right audience. Medium tends to pull things toward longer essays.

So this site will be the home. Short notes, written at my own pace.

LinkedIn can be the distribution layer.

I will give that a try too.
